The final week and an update on my hospital stay.... Plus a great suprise from my Mamma Cheryl

I want to thank you all on keeping me in your thoughts and prayers while I'm in hospital things have been going great and I will be discharged on thursday 16th of December!!! It has been a tough month but it has only seen me grow stronger in many ways. Physically, Mentally and Emotionally... My spasms are now under control with a drug called Baclofen and it has reduced my muscle spasticity to the point where I feel "normal" and discovering things that I never though I could do like push my manual wheelchair!

I have been reciving intense physio therapy while in hospital up to twice a day and in my month stay have gone from jerking everywhere to now being able to step in a walker and walk strighter and more relaxed!!! It has been 6 years since I last stepped in a walker but with the new medication it feels AWESOME!!! In my next post it will be purely deadicated to the photos taken during my hospital stay.

Anyway yesterday I got a great suprise that will make the rest of my hospital stay much easierwithout any idea Mamma Cheryl showed up for a visit! I was in a physio sesson and before coming down to physio she had dropped by my bed and put a build a bear box and box of donut king donuts on my bed, told the nurses and physios not to spoil the suprise then was directed to the physio gym where I was told I have a special visitor and next minute I see MAMMA and squeal with excitement! She stayed and watched my physio session and at the end I walked in the bars then onto a walker over to her to give her a HUG on my FEET!!!
Her and I have wanted that for MONTHS! and it was awesome.... After physio we went back to my room and the suprise from mamma was unvailed. I squealed again open the build a bear box to see the cutest polar bear staring at me and both her and her son had picked out a santa suit for me to dress him in. Mamma had even gone all out and made him a birth certificate to which my new member was named Smiley.  He is a hit on the ward too!!!

But it made my day to see her and so thankful when it comes to what she has done..... Not a memory or a day that either of us will forget in a hurry!
