Our first iPad Winner R.J. uses his new device
[Video and message update sent from R.J.'s mom Theresa Kendall]:
Here is a brief video of R.J. using his new iPad at his speech therapy session. Just look at his face light up and such a BIG smile! We're using the app "I Hear Ewe." This is very simple for him to start using right now. We're also probably going to get the new app called "My first AAC" for the iPad. Very inexpensive and simple as well. He still needs major help w/ his index finger, but I feel he'll catch on really quick as he has w/ our light switches around the house : )
Just a brief description of the video. The one sitting across from R.J. is his speech therapist, Megan the other lady beside him is his PC helper, Karen that comes to help me 3 times a week with R.J.
