I just thought that it would be an idea to create a thread where those of us with special needs and discuss what we are going though with the conditions we have and not just parents of children with special needs.

My greatest challenge now being a young adult with Cerebral Palsy is the thoughts I have with one day possibly becoming a parent and the questions of:

How will I cope given my physical limitations
How do I explain it to my child
How do I cope with the bullying and teasing when my child's friends realise that their mum is different

Although not a parent yet it is still something that I do think about and question.
