It’s true, “Necessity is the (grand) mother of invention.” Stumped over failed methods that did nothing to change my grandson’s picky eating, I was asked for suggestions on how to overcome his aversion to eating many foods. Baby Bitesbegan to eat once-refused whole foods on his own! I call this technique the Baby Bite steps. It works for all picky eaters, because it’s not really about eating, but about learning. Of course, it didn’t take long and the Baby Bite steps became a book: “Baby Bites: Transforming a Picky Eater into a Healthy Eater.” Next, it seemed logical for twice-weekly podcast, "What's Cookin' with Nonna?" where I serve up oodles of food fun and hot kitchen tips, with a generous helping of sizzling nutrition news…and now the Baby Bites Blog!
The Forest Feast is a companion storybook, designed to reinforce the concepts detailed in the parenting book Baby Bites: Transforming a Picky Eater into a Healthy Eater. The lovable characters, Betty Baby Bites and Try Rannosaurus, come alive in an exciting day of mealtime adventures.
