Zach Learning to Walk

Zachary has started Conductive Education, an intensive and integrated therapy/education program. It pushes him to his limits and challenges him to overcome his physical obstacles. The program has helped Zachary immensely in just 5 weeks, but it is a struggle. This video shows how hard it is for him at times during the program. It is once a week for 5.5 hours.

Wow, tears are strolling down my cheeks as I sit here with my 11 year old son, Ronald, watching this video.(and as he corrects my spelling in this comment!).  The struggles we endure watching our children make the smallest milestones are never fully understood by those around us.  I do not have many photos/movies of my son through the years but if I did, one of them would be identical to this one.  Thank you for sharing. Each struggle is so worth the results.  I cried myself to sleep for a week straight when he had to wear his MAPLELEAF brace at night.  He would cry and scream for the first hour each night.  My heart broke but I had faith that this short time of a struggle would be beneficial for  his life. (As many struggles have proved to be)  Ronald now walks with his K-walker!!  ALL struggles are worth it!!! Keep up the good work Zachery and family!
